Ligand binding assays
VelaLabs offers analytical methods for the investigation of ligand binding interactions.
Meeting your needs is our priority!
Ligand Binding Assays
The methods applied in our lab are used to investigate binding interactions of molecules. Resulting parameters include kinetics, affinity, specificity, concentration and content. We have broad experience in providing tailor-made applications to help understand binding interactions in detail.
We offer setup of methods based on quality by design (QbD) principles. Established protocols are available for a wide selection of protein interactions (such as Fc receptor binding and C1q binding) and may be adapted to your specific needs. Method qualification and validation is performed in accordance with the applicable guidelines, e.g. ICH Q2R1.
Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR) Capabilities at VelaLabs for drug discovery and batch release testing
At VelaLabs, we use advanced Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR) technology, specifically Biacore T200 systems, to deliver precise and reliable biomolecular interaction results. SPR is a powerful, label-free technique that measures changes in the refractive index near a sensor surface, allowing real-time monitoring of binding events between molecules.
ELISA and ECL
At VelaLabs, we use a variety of technologies, including ELISA and ECL, to deliver precise and reliable protein binding results in multiple biological matrices including serum or plasma.
